New Job!!! 03-10-2018, 02:59 AM
#1
Got a new job after being laid off from my old call center. It's in another call center, but it's outbound this time. I'm working for a bank, nagging people about their credit card bill. Turns out I'm pretty damn good at it, ended up collecting over $1600 on my first week on the floor.
Edit: Frontier Communications, the old company, is now on strike and its employee retention is at an all-time low. How ironic.

Collections Work is the easiest call center work you could ever do. All you gotta do is read the script popups at the beginning of the call, and when you click on certain menu options like making a payment. You can't vary in your speech however, it *must* be read verbatim. I don't know why, some weird legal collections-related reason.

Congrats. My buddy had a similar job, but eventually quit as he hated getting cussed at on a daily basis for just doing his job.
