I've come across many methods of this nature, and not one was what It claimed to be.

In the "guide" they ask you to download tampermonkey and insert some type of code in there. The code is obviously obfuscated and no one can tell what is going on within the code. What do you know! It replaces your bitcoin address with the individuals bitcoin address instead. Thanks for confirming It.
Cheers.

No problems. Throughout the years, I have realized that anything involving tampermonkey and/or guides that provide you to paste in some obfuscated code is an obvious threat. I had this happen to my friend who thought it was legit. Poor guy was trying to send his btc address to get some money from his friend, and next thing you know the btc address he pasted in was not his. Lesson learnt, I made him install deep freeze and taught him about virtual machines and stuff in order to take safety precautions next time he does something stupid like this.
