Does this shit actually work? Seems pretty interesting actually.
The body exists only to verify one's own existence.

Nope, looks like a scam. It's similar to this thread https://sinister.ly/Thread-How-to-get-an...und-method

You're probably right.

I've come across many methods of this nature, and not one was what It claimed to be.

This is a bitcoin clipper. I have came across this myself. Tested it in one of my vms as well. In the "guide" they ask you to download tampermonkey and insert some type of code in there. The code is obviously obfuscated and no one can tell what is going on within the code. What do you know! It replaces your bitcoin address with the individuals bitcoin address instead.

Cheers.

No problems. Throughout the years, I have realized that anything involving tampermonkey and/or guides that provide you to paste in some obfuscated code is an obvious threat. I had this happen to my friend who thought it was legit. Poor guy was trying to send his btc address to get some money from his friend, and next thing you know the btc address he pasted in was not his. Lesson learnt, I made him install deep freeze and taught him about virtual machines and stuff in order to take safety precautions next time he does something stupid like this.

We all learn from our mistakes. It could've been a lot worse for your friend, but thankfully you guided him In the right direction.

I'm aware about Tampermonkey, however I didn't know It applied to this contribution.
Thanks again.
