This Is one of countless reasons I don't use apps- never have, never will.

Cell phone sensors such as Proximity, Magnetometer, Gyroscope, Acceleromete, GPS, Barometer, Biometric, Ambient Light and so forth are bad enough In capturing, tracking and revealing sensitive data. Apps just add to the number of existing Insecurities.

yes that why I would never get one for myself.

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of apps that're safe and serve their purpose well, however anything you Install on your device does have an element of risk.

Apps are renowned to be targeted by malware.

In terms of malware, as with apps, the same applies to extensions/plugins/add-ons.

Precautionary measures should be taken.
