I'm speaking from experience here when I say to never slack on security. No matter if its a simple sqli or xss, always stay protected. I'm not here to say what the best protection is because I can't. I can tell you though that community service sucks, and if you get that like I did you are lucky. If you are over 18, you will not be as lucky. If you get caught because you are too lazy to set up some tor socks like I was you deserve to be caught.

I'm not bringing up methods because the point if the thread isn't for pens to argue which VPN is more secure, but to say that you shouldn't have sex without using birth control, so to speak, and that actions do have consequences.

At the place I'm doing it, I convinced them to let me build them a new website, do their security, setup their servers, opposed to heavy lifting, so at least I'm not picking up trash on the side of a highway.
