Well what is the additional money needed for? Is it just to buy games? Pay for a car? Pay student debts?

That's the most important part because no point of getting another job if it's just for a small scale hobby.

Avoid wasting money. "I can buy it, but can I afford it?"

Invest and save money that you can. Of course research before you dump money into something.

And most importantly take advantage of opportunities.
