I'm excited that so many companies are going to be bringing awareness of the issue to those who don't know about it, but I'm also annoyed because I need to work and many notable participants are implementing some sort of load delay for their sites.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Are they actually implementing some sort of load delay? I though most of them would just do the popup think. (Check my website and you will see.)

That's what I've heard, anyway. Not 100% sure.

Did you check the popup thingy? I don't think it will be too bad... So hopefully it wont destroy your work flow. But I would rather have my workflow destroyed 1 day then this happening. I think you would agree?

Hmm... Interesting.
But... When I saw the list, I just thought "Really?". Google and Facebook, good for them, trying to help the fight against censorship, because both are blocked in China...
But seriously, stop being bipolar... They do good in some things like this, but they need to work on their privacy shit.
It's like this: https://www.google.com/takeaction/issue/surveillance/
What the fuck? Of all the companies to say that... Google, the company grabbing everyone's stuff and watching us "for advertising"...
Overall, this net-neutrality day thing is great! We should have another internet-blackout day.
I like the popup on your website @Sikom

Quote:Many big companies have said that they will join the day and do something.
This doesn't tell me much. I'm actually Interested to see exactly "what' that will do, and how effective (If at all) It will be.
I've always been a firm believer In the freedom of the net. When you pay for a service (ISP), you should be allowed to utilize that service as you please- without being monitored and restricted when It's not warranted/uncalled for.

This. The one issue I have with this day is the increased difficulty of work. Especially DigitalOcean, not sure what they plan to do, but I have a lot of stuff that has to run through their servers so we'll see.

Here is a short summary of what different companies did:

Didn't seem like it would interrupt you too much @zorrophreak and @Inori, what would you say?
