Hello! And thanks for viewing my thread!

Everyday on Anarchyforums I will provide support for these following operating systems: Windows, Linux!

I have a very good background with the whole Windows operating system so this is what I will be very quick to respond to! My Uncle has worked for Microsoft for around 13 years! I have a okay background with Linux distros. I have a friend that creates Ubuntu platforms like Backtrack, and Blackbuntu so I will ask him or refer him to you if your problem is serious. Recently, I installed gentoo on a server for a client. It throws a kernel panic whenever a sound is played. What did I do wrong, and how can I fix it?

Where does it direct the sound too? Is it the most recent update?

When a sound gets played, instant kernel panic. I probably messed up when compiling ALSA, but I was wondering what other possibilities are.

I would like to test your skills. If I found out somehow that I am infected with a RAT or such virus that I would want to have removed. What are the steps to take to remove it completely?
