Should i start playing with VB as a second language to learn or should i pick something else?
I want learn how to create something with nice visuals so i can make an even prettier progress bar Biggrin Biggrin And i started programming with C.
This is what defines many, yet many are not understood by much.

@Riverclawz - You can create the exact same progressbar as seen in this thread using VB.NET as well. I don't see why you can't write GDI/+ in C though... I haven't tried, but I know you can invoke Win32 functions to draw. Look into the gdiplus.dll.

@Riverclawz - You can create the exact same progressbar as seen in this thread using VB.NET as well. I don't see why you can't write GDI/+ in C though... I haven't tried, but I know you can invoke Win32 functions to draw. Look into the gdiplus.dll.

@ArkPhaze I have tried to get out of the command-line interface but every time i try to understand the weirdly formed source code from a win32 gui my brain burns and i once tried VB and i remember it was way easier to do draw nice stuff there so i figured VB was more specialized and allowed fancier stuff to happen in the ui than C would. But i'll try the hard way again perhaps this time my mind can get his way around it.
