Most likely Smile DirectX is usually C++, unless the person is using some managed library. Most people use GDI however, out of whatever options you know might be available.

If used properly, you can still make some cool stuff, and with animations too...

Here's a demo of what my progressbar looks like while incrementing the value:

Should i start playing with VB as a second language to learn or should i pick something else?
I want learn how to create something with nice visuals so i can make an even prettier progress bar Biggrin Biggrin And i started programming with C.
This is what defines many, yet many are not understood by much.
