RE: My teacher has too much power #21
Hello its me the OP again. I like the comment of Isaac since he figured out this things. I tried searching through task manager but the processes that seemed suspicious to me could only be turned off with admin access. Tried trough the command console that wasn't even listed in start. After getting to it it said i need admin access. But the notepad is turned on, haven't tried with .bat files yet.

Also for blackeagle : it amazed because last year the school didn't have such intense security over students, and also i wanted to know how does this work because if you have physical access to computer you could infect it and next time someone joins it they woudn't even know.

Thank you all for the answers.

from bat there are many ways to get a command shell
try the following. The only way to block the last one is to block bat.
Code:
@echo off cmd

Code:
@echo off command

Code:
@echo off command.com

Code:
@echo off :a set /p input %input% goto a

I was in class with my fellow school mates when we decided to not do our work and slack off. Then all of the sudden our computers got shut down. We realised it was our teacher who forced our computers to shut down. Later we found out that the computers are also monitored that our teacher can see what we are doing. I know this isn't a virus and it was probably physically instaled on every computer in school. What i want to learn is :
- How does this work?
- Can i block this and be the "cool" kid in class
- Can attack my teachers computer similarly without the admin access. (and be the coolest kid)

NOTE : you can also help me by telling me how to move my post in a more appropriate section.

What your teacher is using is called a RAT, which stands for a Remote Access Tool. It is indeed possible to attack your teacher's computer, but uhh, personally I wouldn't do it on any computer he/she has a RAT installed on as they can see what you're doing, so you'd probably get caught. Then you'd be facing a shitload of charges...Think carefully before you try to be the "cool kid".

My school system, the TDSB, uses a program similar to what you're describing here.
I'm not totally sure but I think it's called netsafe or something.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.
