My teacher has too much power - xm-05 - 09-09-2014
Hello HC, since i have a problem posting in other section i'm currently going to post here then move it after i figure it out.
I was in class with my fellow school mates when we decided to not do our work and slack off. Then all of the sudden our computers got shut down. We realised it was our teacher who forced our computers to shut down. Later we found out that the computers are also monitored that our teacher can see what we are doing. I know this isn't a virus and it was probably physically instaled on every computer in school. What i want to learn is :
- How does this work?
- Can i block this and be the "cool" kid in class
- Can attack my teachers computer similarly without the admin access. (and be the coolest kid)
NOTE : you can also help me by telling me how to move my post in a more appropriate section.

Hah, is the computer running Windows?
If so, try to look for unusual tasks in the taskmanager that the teachers are using for monetering and this remote shutdown.
CTRL + SHIFT + ESC for task manager.

Try using taskmanager, I found a process on my school PC.
But I had administrator privileges on my School PC system, so I'm not sure if your school has blocked it

In highschool I had laptop classes but the school would install spyware (like described above on it) and since I refused they stuck me on a school PC. Any who check task manager. Or open up a command shell and type tasklist. Or create a bat file like this

tasklist > process.txtthen read the newly created process.txt file and look for things that are out of place. After that try to obtain that software and run it on a private network (at home with two computers) and see what you can actually do.
Notes: I'm assuming this is just theory because I wouldn't endorse illegal activity. I also don't know how well the commands I gave will work out since I haven't touched windows in about 5 years, so do your research.

well i wonder why u wanna do this ? this won't make you that cool kid lol and no matter what you do they'll know really fast that you made something so i don't know why u wanna do it if they'll end up knowing that it's you !!
