Why would that happen? Who would do that?

I know why you don't want to give out the location, but as I said, people can still possibly find out what school it is just by the little info you have out.  

An easier giveaway that even cautious people often miss, is weather, especially weather headlines.
With just a tempurature, the amount of possible locations can be reduced tremendously, and with text from a report, it becomes easy to pinpoint a single area.

Point: Any seemingly innocent piece of information has the potential to reveal a lot more than intended.

I wonder if any of you have been subject to various threats and doxxing that occur for literally no other reason than someone "felt like it". Humanity is scary, and just because you wouldn't see logic in those actions, it is safer not to assume someone else won't. I say this as someone who has had more than her fair share of senseless threats. I like to think I'm a nice person too

Either way, it is unlikely that someone will cause trouble from this thread. Though it is always better to be safe than sorry.

Back on topic: It's a serious shame when schools of this age close. Even if they're small, that's a little piece of history going. A few of the schools I've been to, were also 100+ years old. I hope any transitions you, or the younger students face, go smoothly.

They said they did DOX me, but I had to assure them that it wasn't me, the guy was from Italy I think, and he had an Italian name, and I have an English name, thus it was pretty obvious that it wasn't me. It was funny as hell to be honest.

The first was easy, I just searched "text", replacing text with the text from the report, (the quotes are important), then looked through the results.

This conversation turned to a doxxing conversation lol, it's easy to dox people that share the same things on multiple places. Also there are many tools that can help doxing, or just use osint framework :p

I've never grasped how you can pull all of a persons personal details from an ip ect
