My colossal fuck-up! 07-19-2016, 01:54 AM
#1
Sometimes, I do things that afterward, I sit back and go "What the fuck was I thinking!?" This weekend was on of those times. I was doing a bit of tweaking of my OS, and decided it would be a good idea to take ownership of the entire windows folder. It ended just as you would expect, with a totally borked operating system.

The worst I have done to an OS was mess with UXTheme stuff. Caused my OS to not boot up properly (I'd boot, but wouldn't get to the lock screen. Reinstalled Windows because fuck trying to find actual fix.
That and I also made C:\ as primary partition on my laptop once and when I rebooted, "BOOTMGR is missing". That I was able to recover from thanks to command prompt.
We all do things that're stupid. That's what makes us human. It's also how we learn.
