My absense: An update 05-31-2018, 09:57 PM

So many of you have probably noticed I have barely been on SL the past month, and I feel its time to explain. First off, I needed a break from SL. I found myself too jaded and annoyed to properly do my job as a mod, and felt staying would have been detrimental to all of you. On top of that, every so often I suffer from depression. I just didnt want to do anything, nor was I interested in the things I enjoy. Last, and most serious, on the evening of May 20th, my stepdad (who I was very close to) passed away from flash pulmonary edema (heart failure). The first few days after, I took time to myself and did not talk to or see anyone, didn't even log in. In fact, I have not been home since last week, and only yesterday arrive back home from helping my mother with various things, as well as the funeral service, which was Tuesday. I'm back, and am excited to be back and join in on the discussions here.

Looks like you're going through a tough time. Can't say I haven't gone through my fair share of bad situations. Hang in there, it's only temporary. Persistence means perseverance. Glad to have you back.

Sorry for your loss hope things will get better for you !! Life can be hard sometimes but you can't give up, in the end everything will get better.
Everyone should learn how to code, it teaches you how to think.
You don't have to be a Genius to know how to code you just need to be determined.
The computer is incredibly fast, accurate, and stupid; man is unbelievably slow, inaccurate, and brilliant; together they are powerful beyond imagination.
