@Twisted If the router is yours, why don't you apply a WPA2-PSK password over it (WiFi) Let the router generate the pass and store it somewhere safe. If your router Wifi doesn't have a password that doesn't mean you're hacked, they are simply using your net and eating up the bandwidth hence you get slow speed.

To see what's connected to your router have a look at the administration page which will be your ip address with .1 at the end instead of the last digit ie 192.168.1.1 there should be a devices button on there and will give you the option to kick them while you set up a strong wpa2 password

What chmod said. It's really important to have a strong password protected network in place.

In regards to the ip conflicts, make sure it's not another device (that you own) that's causing this problem.

How long has this been happening? If it's only been a day or so it may be your ISP experiencing issues. Regardless, carry out all suggestions listed here. If you still continue to have problems with your slow internet connection, check the problem with your ISP and ensure your router is in working order.

If the IP conflicts continue to happen after the password change etc, it's probably a device you own, I've seen this happen quite a bit.

make strong WPA2- psk enabled password with 12+ characters and there is no possible way to crack...maybe evil twin but it's pretty hard if you compare with reaver, hydra and aircrak dictionary way to crack...

hey all thanks for the replys i have a password on it and i hanged it and i had no issues for about 3 hours and then it went back to ip conflict so i changed the password again and withing 15 min i was having ip conflickt again in the times between the ip conflict there was no issue in speed and so on as soon as ip conflict pops up net is slow as hell i also just checked my data usage for the last 2 days and it is higher then normal so im still thinking someone is geting into my router and leeching off me i dunno what to do as iv just swape over from unlimited inter net to a monthly cap so if im being leeched all my usage will be gone by the end of the week a the rate its going now
