That rig is on a whole different level. Very interesting.

Saw this video before, definitely one of the most interesting PC's on Youtube. The maintenance for that would be fucking crazy

LinusTechTips also has a great (and somewhat lengthy but very interesting) Build Log of one of these from scratch. It's good for learning how these things are built

it's notably cooler than Slicks, it's newer and made with a cooler case Tongue

I think Luke's is cooler, since he sourced everything - fishtank included - himself.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

True

Making use of anything you can as poor college student stories are kind of inspiring

I feel the same! I would also worry that as a complete clutz I would be a destructive force around something like that!

That's very cool, I think I wouldn't dare to build this (yet). I can't imagine a 2000$ computer drawning because I misconfigured it. Really interesting video, thank you for the share man.

While it's cool and all... Mineral oil is expensive, it's sorta impractical, and when a cat knocks that over...

I'd think it would become quite heavy with the mineral oil and everything so I find it hard to believe a cat would find the power within to knock over a tank

However it is absolutely impractical. You can probably achieve similar cooling results with straight water cooling

Doesn't matter doe you get to brag to everybody if you have a mineral oil PC Tongue
