MSI and Alienware probably two choices worth debate about to which is better.

That's what I'm saying. I really have loved Alienware since I was a kid I have dreamed of owning one but, MSI is the big competition for Alienware. And, keep in mind that even though Alienware is a great company that it is still Dell that makes them. Even though I'm not sure how fair that is to reference them to because that's like referencing Audi to Volkswagen.

Asus or Lenovo laptops. I've had good experience with them.

I wouldn't buy any of the 3 you listed, because they are overpriced - Dell, Asus, Lenovo - these are good from my experiences.

I understand they are overpriced for what they are and I'm partially because I want to show off to my team at work (I'm in the IT department). But, I am very interested in those 3 for performance and for style. I've wanted a high end laptop for over 10 years now.

Yeah, I heard that once Dell bought Alienware out, their quality went south and pricing went north. But I have no way to back that up, just what I've heard.

As @Skullmeat said, lenovo laptops seem to run sturdily.

Its also the fact lenovo will sell you replacement parts, or FRUs (Field Replaceable Unit) without them demanding you sent in the entire laptop. This makes them easy to service.

I'd recommend Lenovo as well. I had a Y510P w/ 755Ms in SLI. Their laptops are more affordable than most gaming ones, as well.

This is very true. Their customer service and laptops are garbage now.

So, I am really thinking about MSI!

I would look into other brands but, as I said I really want a machine that has one of these top notch brands. Its kinda like if someone became really successful in their life and wanted to buy a super car. At the end of the day it does the same thing as a ford focus but, everytime I open it up I know I have all the power I could ever need in a slick looking package with a bunch of silly bells and whistles.
