yes in many ways. You can still use RATS for windows on linux without worrying about infecting your self and your less likely to catch something.

I found that Linux is better for hacking and programing too because you can make your OS in Linux easyly because you can make the codes.

I'd say its matter of what you wanna do with it...

For example: its nonsense to run Slowloris on windows server, since its ineffective.
On the other hand, using windows will give you the experience of the system that you might want to crack

I don't see why Linux is a better OS than windows, just because its free and Open source doesn't make it a better OS. Personally if you ask me i'll say Linux is over hyped and the fact that it doesn't run any "virus" is completely untrue, there are viruses specially compiled for linux. If you are a gamer you cannot play your favorite games on the os just some of the games made for linux. People say Linux is highly configurable and you can "develop" it further, answer me honestly how many real programmers are there that can develop Linux further for own good?

Coming to hacking, you can run most of the stuff on Windows that you can run on Linux, I've seen some real badass hackers who have found vulnerabilities in some good famous sites and they don't use any other OS than Windows. Backtrack is the only useful thing you might find as a hacker since it has most of the "hacking" stuff configured and ready to use.

I'm not saying Linux not a good OS just saying its not a better os than Windows both have their own benefits and drawbacks.

Linux is better because you can make scripts on the fly to do anything plus all modules are pre installed for ruby python and perl all the good hacker languages.

Agreed. Sure, there are benefits and drawbacks to both, but Linux is easily the better choice for daily use or hacking. IMHO

BackTrack is a good linux os but if we r say Windows is bad,it's not right. Backtrack good for all hacker so we never say all linux version are good,if we search tool and driver for both OS i think here Windows come first.Both OS are still different attribute.
Some good hacker like Windows for his purpose and some like Linux,but i think all person satisfied with me on "Windows more friendly compair to other available OS" and it is also the region of Microsoft Success.

There Is no "better", but more so what you perform and expect from your day to day computational tasks.

The Windows platform suffices my needs, hence It's my choice.
