Link-base.org legit or Scam? Got scammed by the admin

Hi,

A few months ago i made a payment of €25 for a link in link-base.org. I had long conversations with the admin which made me believe that he was a trusted person. I even help him translate the site to other languages. After the payment has been made he blocked his jabber address and never heard from him again.

So, eventually i let it slide but i come back to get an answer,
I tried the 2 jabber addresses. Got no response
I tried the ICQ number. Not registered online
I tried Whois Query. Protected by WhoisGuard
I tried github. No anwser
I tried Twitter. Got a reply that he only answers by jabber or ICQ even thought i have tried to reach him using that methods

Does anyone has any suggestions?

Are you sure that you were talking with the administrator?

Was there any Identifiable Information In the payment gateway used, or any details (no matter how small) that may have a starting point to further the Investigation?

Yes, i did give him a few fresh hacking related forums and he added the links to the list.

If you visit the site you will find a bitcoin address on the menu.

This is the same address for link payment.

As you may see, they match. The funds haven't been spend yet.

Also i added to the bitcoin transaction a message "Email SPAM Prank link" and my email.

Creating this thread seem to have some effect. It isn't solved yet but got a reply on jabber.
