Appearance is changed with ease, and speed seems to only be a complaint when Ubuntu is the distro in question. Try something else.

I agree completely, although I'm using it right now.
The speed/performance issues are kinda mitigated when you run the LTS version on a high-end machine.

What? I love Ubuntu! It has its problems but to be honest its the only distribution that actually looks/seems/feels professional. I know it has its bugs but... cmon man give it a chance ;-;
