Let's start a new.. There's no place like home. #1
Hello, My name is Derek.

I have had a long relationship with this community. My original user was @RA1N. I joined the community back whenever it was HackCommunity. I actually still use some of the simple stuff I developed for the coffee group now in the office. When I first joined I was 16 dying to expand my knowledge in the realms of software development and programming. I am now going on 22 and, I am proud to say that I now have accomplished more than ever imagined back when I was first here..

*Note* Because I'm not sure if it's against the rules to have multiple accounts... I don't have access to that email anymore and forgot my password. Got a new phone number and will never do it again..

I work for a fortune 40 company as an IT Software Engineer. I usually spend my days writing 1000s of lines of code, designing interfaces, developing solutions, and drinking many monsters. I have been expanding my knowledge since the age of 12.

I would like to give back to the community as well as help aid anyone that needs it. I am by no means saying that I know everything there is and you'll probably see me asking questions. Always learning..

Looking forward to getting back involved.

Nice to have you. Go check out our coding section! It'd be nice to have another guy who writes programming tutorials/threads around. Check my signature for my list of them

Yes, it is against the rules. Perhaps @Oni will help you out with a merger

Sure, I would love to help spread good general knowledge that could really help advance any beginners / intermediate programmers. Practically 80% of my programming is in C# (.NET) so... I'll make good to the C family, Java, Visual Basic and .NET.

I actually need to get him online anyways because, I have a donation to give to the community <3.

As per forum rules, multi-accounting Is not permitted, so It's best to message @Oni and advise of what's mentioned here.

That aside, I remember your username of RA1N on various boards. I haven't seen you around In quite a while though. Welcome to our community, have a most pleasant stay.

@mothered @Oni

I completely understand by Forum rules that you have to do what you need to. I am willing to identify my identity anyway possible. I am 100% game with whatever we have to do to get things straight!

Some people here know C#, the majority of the serious stuff is C/asm though.

Haha, understandable.. Mainly the only reason for that focus is due to work but, at the end of the day knowledge is knowledge!

Well welcome back. I have seen some stuff under @RA1N and while I haven't been here that long, its always good when old members re-join.

I would get the account merger worked out as soon as possible though as you really don't want to go multiaccounting for very long.

See you around!

Welcome back. Be sure to check the rules. Staff are here if you need help.

I can merge your old/new accounts together, but I need you to send me a PM from the other account.

If I read that correctly, he said he lost control of the email that account is linked to, and I'm guessing he doesn't remember his password, which is why he made the new account. Perhaps if he knows the email address the account was linked to that would be sufficient for you?
