Lala Land awarded best picture by mistake #1
You can't make this shit up, folks. Warren Beatty somehow read the wrong envelope and announced that Lala Land won the Oscar for best picture, when in fact it was Moonlight that won it.

In a related matter, I won a $20 bet for about two minutes.

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

I swear to god if Steve Harvey was announcing this.

Nah but seriously that sucks so bad. I feel so bad for them now

I don't, they snubbed the shit out of so many amazing movies; Passengers, Arrival, and Lion, to name a few. Speaking of, don't get me started on the fuckery with Dev Patel, that was cruel.

I couldn't believe he messed up Miss Universe 2015. The winner (who then became the runner up) would've been shattered.

On topic, Inevitably so, this will continue to happen. @Inori, It's a shame your glorification was short-lived for 2 minutes.
EDIT: Typo.

I bet my dad that Lala Land would win best picture because it won pretty much every other category. I actually didn't even know Moonlight existed until yesterday.
