would be crazy if there was some cosmic mirror in between and we were just looking at how our civilization was thousands of years ago because of the time it takes light to reach us.

This won't be the only planet we spy in the sky that looks like Earth. Maybe we'll find one closer.

I've always wondered. Would Mars have been our planet once but because of human greed and exploitation, Mars died on us and somehow we decided to start over by launching experimental/-ed micro-organisms to the next planet?
