I know 3 ways of phishing:
1.fake HTML page
2.Desktop Phishing
3.Phisher-fake program
4.Phishing fake HTML page-Tab napping

How to protect?
1.Look at the address bar!
Example if u see the facebook page but link is not "www.facebook.com" it's: "www.ripway.com/example/index.html" it's fake.Try entering wrong information.
2.It's same as 1. but in this case somebody sent you "www.facebook.com" but it's fake it's not real page.Try entering wrong information,if u are phished just reset the password.
3.If u download program example: "Facebook Hacker" u see 2 textboxes 1.:e-mail 2:password if u enter your information it's sent to hacker's gmail.Don't enter your information!If u enter your information change or rested the password.
4.If u open 10 tabs and for 10 seconds your page is redirected to fake page.Enter wrong information,look at the address bar.If u are phished reset the password.

If the domain is www.something.110mb.com then that is a phisher site and anything inserted in the fields will be sent to someone !

Some of that is correct. There's more advanced phising methods, for example, sending you a e-mail and make you click it; this mail will re-direct you to two diffrent sites, one of those sites contains a keylogger.
