I am surprised nobody has asked this yet. But what are your opinions on this? Is there really a god?

No, I don't believe in god.

The only god is yourself.

The concept of "God" is very much a failsafe in its own right. If you analyze religious writings, such as the Bible then one thing becomes painfully obvious. Its failproof. Which makes no sense because even the Bible states that humans have no concept of God's plans, yet the Bible can carefully explain everything. This leaves the Bible in a state where it cannot be proven right or wrong, rather where its up to the individual to believe or not. This is a common thing to do when you aim to manipulate a great deal of people into one focus. This trait, along with there being so many different religious views leaves out a few proofs. A great deal of religious writing is written by humans following their own subjective views, and not a universal fact.

It also means that the majority of religions are wrong, yet no one can prove which is the right one. It's like scientists, arguing over who is right and who is wrong only because they need to earn a living. So is there a God? It may well be a God, but no one can prove it and if they do then it means nothing. It won't change things, as it would just be part of God's plan in the end. Is there a possibility that there is no God? Yes. Though what do I believe? Personally, I think its stupid to assume that one is universally correct, so I have come to believe that there is no God, but I will gladly accept the possibility that I am wrong.
