I was unaware of this till now. Its really quite a shock for me. What is the world coming to... I mean, someday the authorities might just say sleeping with doors of your bedroom closed is a suspicious activity. Do whatever you have to with open doors..

I'm very sorry, but I can see the red flag rise over the US.
These events happened in my country when communism was rising. First they tried to pass a law that would keep them bad guyz from having business in our country. Then they told us that bad people are within our communities and we should closely watch each other.
I'm now waiting for news from US about a hero, that reported his close friend (or family member) to the authorities because he found him suspicious.
Staff will never ever ask you for your personal information.
We know everything about you anyway.

There is always going to be someone trying to invade your privacy whether its the government or the FBI. And as they find new ways to invade our privacy we'll find new ways to anonymize ourselves once again. There's countries worse off than us though, like china.
