It's not dying at all since Elon took over. It's more free for speech than ever before, and well maintained, imo. Less pedo rings, less pr0n, less arbitrary bullshit.

so much baiting across posts (misspelling on purpose, ragebait, political inflammatory shit, cringe unnecessary shit that makes you want to comment). It's just all fake and to be in the comments of social media posts regularly I'd say is now a sign on low iq

I don’t know if Twitter is dying, but I can say that my friends are using it less and less.

Yes! More bots, no likes , dumb name, don't know anyone that would say that it has improved.

I do not think so. A lot of stuff like news or some marketing campaigns are posted there. BUT, it got the dead internet syndrome, when you open posts and see some basic comments (can be like 5 from one person), where the comments looks like this: "Nice", "Context?", "Oh no", "Beautiful". I believe 70 percent of comments are generated by bots and there is little useful content in the comments thread.

It's amusing because a lot of people have blamed Elon for Twitter's problems since he acquired it. Bots were an issue before, but now it's more obvious.

It also became apparent how Disney and other entities had a hold over the platform, so in a way he did us all a service.

I guess with AI raise the bot numbers skyrocketed. It is easy to create a bot that will be prompting in ChatGPT and place the answer in a dialog with other users.
