Is OVH a good place to host a website?

I am interested in starting first with a VPS and then moving over to a dedicated server when things get bigger so I can use it for even more. I currently have a Tor relay that is built on an OVH VPS and it works pretty well in my opinion and has been up for several days ( The Uptime on Atlas says otherwise but I restarted tor due to an issue in my Torrc file).

Depends whether it's a static website and what it should do. If it's just a website, I'd just upgrade the VPS if it isn't fast enough, otherwise I'd go for a dedicated server.

Yes. OVH is good for site hosting depending on the type of site.

I have used Vultr and Digital Ocean before, I dont like them because they have the 1TB Bandwidth Cap and OVH has it unmetered with a pretty fast connection ( and it is much cheaper)

I've used DigitalOcean a good bit in the past, so can speak highly of them, and Vultr isn't bad from what I've heard. When it comes to OVH, they have some good reviews, but at the same time, they get hacked frequently and their uptime (in my experience) is terrible.

Good luck anyways, if you're not too worried, just use OVH.

Not sure if you have got OVH or anything yet, but may I recommend Linode? By far they have the best upload/download speeds out of DO, and Amazon, and they are deadcheap. Been using them to host my site + personal server for ages and it's been great

I realize you haven't been on for around a week or so, but If you can please post the nature of your website, we can then make an Informed decision as to the suitability of a given host.

We've used them in the past. They flagged/closed us for fraud without reason once. Asides from that, decent hosting.
