Introducing Neals: The only must have album of 2014 #1
Today I finally found some time to listen to the new album released by YTCracker entitled "Introducing Neals."

YTCracker really outdid himself with this album, a self proclaimed "hiphopera" that follows an ex hacker, "Neals" through is life after hanging up the keyboard. However, things take a turn in the bleak, oppressed city of San Secuestro, and the rest of the country, with the formation of "The Syndicate", a result of a merger of over 80% of the country's telecom companies. Follow Neals adventure as he tries unsuccessfully to ignore the actions The Syndicate, the Federal Bureau of Telecommunications, finds love, and learns of betrayal, in this amazing album spanning about 60 minutes. It's the best free album you'll be happy to pay $15 for.

"the year is 2015.

the booming, neon-spackled metropolis of san secuestro continues to be the epicenter of the world's greatest technological advancements. home to the largest hardware and software giants alike, the politicians of capitol city look to san secuestro as the cradle of the country's future, as rich in ideas as it is in wealth.

the politicians could do without the festering underbelly of san secuestro, however - a network of meddling hackers constantly disrupting the government's efforts to surveil and control the massive data pipes flowing from the city out to the rest of the globe.

this is the tale of one of many such hackers, imprisoned by the Syndicate for raging against the machine in the name of online privacy and net neutrality.

In addition to this album, YTCracker is currently running an Indiegogo campaign to raise funding for the Introducing Neals movie

Rarely do I rave on about an album. I have fairly high standards, and frankly this album blew me away. Even rarer do I pay for music, especially with services such as Grooveshark and Pandora. However, this is the first album I've heard in a LONG time that I will HAPPILY give some money for, and I feel the $15 YTC is asking is more than fair for the greatness that is Introducing Neals. Keep in mind, you can listen to the entire album for free at the bandcamp page, so it's literally a try before you buy type of scenario.

So set aside an hour, get down on some science if you do, and take a ride with Introducing Neals...
