The price Is excessive.

I'd be more Interested when It's released In consumer PCs, but I'd say It's safe to assume that we'd be waiting a while.

For my budget it is very out of reach. So far i am stuck in i5 on 3 of my laptops .

The i9 looks pretty promising tech wise, and the price, for a new release with its specs isn't unreasonable. However it is not fit for consumer PCs yet. Give it a year or two.

If the Core I5 fulfills your computing needs, then that's all that counts.

I know a lot of users who purchase an overkill, and don't utilize half of the PC's resources.
