You can't put a RAT inside of a WHOLE network of computers. But if you mean how to put it on single computer then do this.

Make a RAT and everything at home.
Bind it with an image file or something.
Put the RAT onto a USB.
At school, plug the USB into a computer.
Open the RAT.

Agreed, but I want to take this a step further than just injecting it into a computer on the network, My school are so pathetic, they haven't even pass worded their switch, I want to infiltrate the system, and record how, and basically "sell" it to them, in which i want them to give me a £800 server that's just sat in my IT room

If you don't challenge yourself, or give you something to do that requires that extra push of effort, you will not learn and progress.

My intentions:

• Infiltrate the school system
  
• Log how, when and why we managed to breach the security
  
• Help the school improve their security
  
• Hopefully gain something other than experience from doing this
  

We have tried to inform the school on how weak their system is, and they just ignore us because in their mind we're just children. Sometimes to prove a point you need to take action and show them.

Also this will be testing me (and any other people I may be working with) on my capabilities and skill.

When it comes to trying to gain something other than experience, the school may be thankful for the work we have done, and we may be rewarded, but that is not my main intentions.

The first idea was to infecting the school servers with a RAT, and leave a backdoor in them and be able to use their internet speed to our own resources, maybe some web hosting, VPN, there are many different things we could of done. But we have now realized that this would be way to risky, considering we attend that building 5 days a week, excluding holidays.

The school isn't going to respond like you seem to believe they will. They will suspend/expell you, and possibly press criminal charges. It's a terrible idea. When you hear of successful greyhats, if you notice, they always report the problem digitally, to dodge these legal issues, or don't actually commit any illegal act. You are doing neither.

Beyond this, you also lack the expertise to pull it off. If you have to ask for help RATing any system at all, you shouldn't be doing anything even remotely risky.
