IP Changing AT&T Provider #1
I've tried looking for ways to change my ip address with AT&T for hours on hours everyday and I cant find anything that works. I got it changed once by calling in but took almost a week and would like to know if its possible to reduce that time frame. I know about vpns, proxies etc but would like to change my ip for personal reasons. Thanks

The majority of home/residential networks have a dynamic IP address.

A router reboot usually assigns a new (dynamic) IP address. If It doesn't work the first time, try It multiple times or leave the router off overnight. As such, the DHCP will not remember the previous IP, hence provide a new one.

I've turned my router off over night since Thursday night and sadly haven't gotten it changed. I feel AT&T is cursed for IP changes XD

What router do you have? That may help me figure what's wrong.

You may well have a static IP, which can only be changed by your ISP.
