rip whatever firmware is on the router right the fuck off, throw on DD-WRT or tomato if its not compatible and set up IP tables to run through proxies with a kill switch. There. No more ISP problems

Unless you have a Superhub, these are locked down devices no way to change the firmware, you have to buy a secondary device to do this. ISPs are logging everything but I've never experienced anything like what OP has unless I'm not looking deep enough but then again I am extremely lazy.

That's why I've never purchased a Router (with my Internet bundle) from my ISP. It may be unlikely, but you never know whether a backdoor has been planted Into the device to monitor activity.

I believe there may well be a backdoor on the Superhubs due to the fact that there's SSH & Telnet (Filtered) on the router but there's no way to open the port so why does this need to even be on the router you might ask, according to Virgin media this is used by the "Service Technicians" incase of any problems.

To me that suggests a way in for anyone who wants to take look.

I may purchase a cheap second hand one and begin messing with it at some point, hopefully should be able to dump everything.
