Reverse image search shows no matches, so I know for fact that it is actually your dorm...but how do we know its a prison dorm? You still haven't explained how you got internet access, and how they let you visit sinisterly

Reverse Image lookups, are not always accurate In Identifying the source and/or distribution of the Image In question. They're only as good as the match stored In their database. TinEye Is said to be one of the best, but personally, I find It's a pretty mediocre resource.

In terms of the dorm, the GFX designers at my work could create an original within 3 minutes.

In my opinion Yandex image search is better than tineye (and even better than Google sometimes).
To be on topic: if this guy is in prison I see 2 possible scenarios:
If he is there for a short period of time, for minor offences, then he is quite stupid, during this period of time to continue to do illegal stuff. Way too risky. So why someone will want to become the partner of such idiot guy?
The only situation on which the scenario can be real is if he will stay in prison for the next 10+ years, so even if he is caught doing other illegal stuff, some years/months added won´t mind him. But who will want to be a partner with someone who did serious crimes?

People who help those in jail will end up in jail. Anyone on the site that knows anything about me knows I am juuuuuust sketchy enough to know exactly what I'm talking about and would heed my advice on this matter.

I believe I was referencing the "hep cats" of the Jazz/Reefer/Early Prohibition era and not, as you have described, a small mammal that hunts other small mammals and also bugs.
