I believe he's fair in saying that if the guide instructs you to use Tampermonkey, it's a scam. In the past there have been guides that instructed people to use Tampermonkey, in an attempt to steal BTC.

Whether the guide includes that instruction, is another matter.

I recall issuing a permanent ban, as well. Either way, his unban was of no permanence.
