How should I deal with spam? #1
So I own a link shortener. I'm getting a bit of spam on it though.

Here are the statistics to it:

A lot of these clicks/urls are legitimate however a TON of them are annoying Viagra BS spam sellers.

Also some people like to shorten gore and nasty shit. I really don't want to delete links, I hate censorship and I would hate to be one of those websites that begins censoring phrases and urls.
I'm not sure what to do though. I don't want to enable spammers either. Especially if they're shortening illegal shit.
I cannot report them as I do not monitor IP addresses. So even if I were to remove a link, it could just come right back up shortly. The only way to do this would be to completely censor the url.

What do you think I should do?

Wow, you've got a bit of a problem there. I think just censoring the word 'Viagra' and similar terms will be the only way around it.

Put it on the tos that when ever you see those kinds of links you will delete it or censor it.

Hidden Lesson: Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.

Yea, i'm probably going to begin censoring obvious spam links.

The website is http://linkmasker.co/

And the script is right here:
http://codecanyon.net/item/premium-url-s...er/3688135

But linkmasker is a modified version of that script.

Just go to your database and change the link.
