23 Years old, I think the 24-char limitation is a great idea, to encourage ppl not only to post YES or NO but to add a reason too.

I don't think that lowering it is a good idea. Often it can prevent from very short spamming posts and there's only a few cases like this topic where it can be of annoyance, but I don't think it should be lowered just because of some specific cases. I think you can add some text (even if it doesn't make sense like -------------------------------) to trick the filter, without any problem here.

I havent bothered talking to him yet and you're right, its just a pain. I was thinking of suggestion to drop to like 15-17 or so. Not too much, but the average response.
