How much money per month do you consider to be a good amount? #1
heyoo

I'm curious to your guys' ideas of how much money someone must earn in a month to be able to live comfortably.
I know the word "comfortable" varies between each person since it depends on your lifestyle, location, and personal preferences so do share details about those if you want!

For me, I'd say $4k-$5k a month is above average in many places as you could live comfortably, and have money to spare after expenses.

At least 5k to pocket after monthly expenses.

Ransomware is more about manipulating vulnerabilities in human psychology than the adversary’s technological sophistication.

I think this really depends on cost of living and tax. Going on a basis for the UK where I'm from, average monthly earnings before tax hover around the $2,000 mark (with current exchange rate). So $5K seems an enormous wage to me. $60k per year sounds more than comfortable to me. However, we have the NHS and aren't paying out of pocket for tuition at university (to some extent).

tl;dr - It really depends, but $5k seems significantly more than comfortable from my perspective.

Well, an average restaurant/"unskilled" labor worker makes $20-30k a year.
People with degrees and in jobs like accounting, finance, etc make $40-70k as starters.

So for me personally I think the $4k-5k is a comfortable range (not a lot per se).

Again, that really depends on location/country etc. I'm assuming by restaurant you mean an actual restaurant, as opposed to fast food joint? I can't say I know anyone making that in a restaurant of any kind where I live - Not to say it doesn't happen, but that's a relatively high end salary for entry level work. However, restaurants tend to pay more than say an admin office job at entry level.

For example, at a company I work for, everyone below a management position earns $25k at an absolute maximum. At entry, they are barely above minimum wage. However, the engineers would be on somewhere between $30-$45k for their skilled work.

yeah, real one. yea this girl that i used to be close with would make a killing with tips she made a preety decent amount at the restaurant she work in. but true i do feel it depends in the location. learn that in virginia in the states, the cost of living is cheap but making money at a fast food joint or restaurant.. doesnt receive great pay like it would in NY or somewhere and living isnt quit expense in the midwest not so bad but eastern or western quit a hassel i feel in the US

As you said, it depends on the country. In my country 2500 € / month is quite decent. Obv, the more the better xD

There's too many variables to provide a conclusive answer.

If your house Is paid off and you live on your own with no attachments, 800$ a month Is more than enough, bills Inclusive.

It depends on the vision of comfort and the country as well as you said.

For me in France I would say between 2.5k and 3k for me.
