Tongue Yes that was just bullshit talk XD I can take 20 and I feel pain for a day.

Then you shouldn't do (that many) push ups. Seriously, you are young and still growing. You should not train with weights or anything like that.

That's BS. Training with weights before finishing growing does NOT hinder growth. Smile

There's no hard evidence that says it isn't good for you. There's nothing I hate more than seeing a 15 year old kid refuse to squat with weight because he's afraid he'll stop growing. -_-

TheY are not good for you. Dont do too many then its oke

Exactly. They're not dangerous or anything, but it's better to start training once your a little older.
He's like 13, doing 20 consecutive push-ups won't hurt him one bit.

Even if he was 13 doing 20 double bodyweight backsquats, it wouldn't hurt him. Biggrin

That's exactly what I thought. I'm not 100% sure, but I think someone told me that when I was little.

I did 36 in 2 minutes yesterday, but I need to be able 40 in under two minutes in order to join the gym. However, 40 in 2 minutes is just a basic level for the army, and if I could do 60-80 that would certainly impress the army more so I am hoping to be able to reach that level within the next couple of months.
