He's providing a service without getting paid and people forget that sometimes. If he wants to make a decision about something that not everyone agrees to, he has every right, no-one else is paying for it (apart from those few donators).

I honesty would donate if i had the means too. But I do not have a credit card and it is currently illegal for me to have one or a PayPal account. I'm looking into bitcoin though.
