How do you become legend?

I don't want to be one, I'm just very curious when I check someone's profile, and see the title, "Legend".
At first, I thought it was a group. But I'm mistaken.
Somebody care to share?

Back when the forum was starting to grow, there were only 2 usergroups for regular members, Elite and Super Elite. At the time they costed an assload of SP each. Oni eventually made some massive changes on the forum's 2nd birthday including the usergroups. After we changed to the current system of Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc... everyone who had been Elite or Super Elite before the renovations got the usergroup of Legend.

TL;DR it's a usergroup for old fags, you can't get it anymore.

This is spot on. It's pretty damn exclusive for obvious reasons. I kinda like it since I can tell who was around from the early days without having to go check join dates etc. The forum was very different back then.

Tarew summed it up pretty much. All members in Legends are Elites and Super Elites from the past days. Mothered was a Super Elite, so was Pirate (technically, considering his join date and posts due to merge).
