I have the exact method that the GeekSquad use to get rid of viruses on your computer. I initially wrote this for another forum, but I figured it could be posted here as it would help.

Here's a little guide I've written to making sure you clear out all the viruses off the computer. This is the same method most large retailers like Future Shop and Best Buy, and it works. It's fairly simple. Just download all of these programs to a data CD or a USB stick, then start the infected computer in safe mode with networking. Run all of these programs in the following order.

1. Kapersky Anti-Rootkit Utility:

2. Roguekiller (Press number 2 for delete and hit enter, don't change anything else)

3. Combofix:

4. Malwarebytes (once installed and updated, run a full scan and remove anything you haven't created yourself that shows up)

5. Superantispyware (install and run with default settings)

6. Avira Antivirus 2012 (once installed, perform a full scan)

7. Unhide.exe (shows files that may have been hidden, for easy deletion)

8. CCleaner (click the 'Run Cleaner' to clean the temporary folders on your computer. You can also remove broken or unused registry keys at this point)

Half those tools you don't need. Man, you can easily get rid of viruses by removing them off of start up, unless it's one with persistence and is actually thought out.

You should add them into an archive so people doesn't have to go to multiple sites to get the software.

That's not true.
Viruses can hide from startup, they can also bind to other files that auto run.
