I'd go with a Threadripper over a Ryzen 7 any day, and get an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer, those AMD CPUs need good cooling, especially for overclocking.

For gaming, I personally would choose nvidia, like a 1060, but if you plan to be doing other things than just gaming then that would actually be better, but as far as the build goes, it's good but a bit overboard

I agree with Eternal, I would def go with a Nvidia. If you want to put a little bit more go for the 1080.

I'd swap to Intel/Nvidia, especially if you've got the cash.
