Help with BT5 + Laptop #1
So I've got this little netbook, havent used it in a while (something on it fudged up, forgotten what) so I drag it out and try to boot it normally. I get the 'Problem Booting Operating System' message, fair enough.

So I plug in my USB drive and boot into BT5, I get everything good until I choose the (no text mode) option on the little menu thing... Then I get this error.

So yeah, I can still input commands (apparently) just not do anything actually useful, like install the OS.

tldr; Anyone know what this on my screen means?
Yeah, I know. I'm guilty. I understand that. I knew it was a crime, and I did it anyways.

Shit, why argue? I'm a fucking criminal, look at me.

I did pretty much exactly that, except I'm using my USB HDD to boot into multiple distro's/OS's ...could that be making a difference?

Yeah, I can boot it fine, I even get the Ubuntu/BT start-up screen, after I select which mode to boot BT into (stealth, forensics etc.) it comes up with that screen, kind of annoying because I wanted to install it, or at least use it as a live USB.

Yeah it's a corrupt image, I assume you used Unetbootin to install to the flash drive? That does happen occasionally with Unetbootin. I've had a couple run-ins with that problem. Unfortunately, the only thing to do is take another hour or so and re-download the software. Maybe even use a different USB installer. I know there is a guide some where to make a persistent USB boot, pretty handy when you're on the move a lot.
