RE: Help needed! Hackintosh #11
It is possible to get one running on AMD. The kexts for the nVidia should be available too. Sound can be a problem though, what are you using for sound?

He's referring to the CPU, not the GPU.

@phyrrus9 If he's asking this, I'd assume that he isn't able to do all that.

Nope. For starters, Apple already uses Nvidia graphics cards so the kexts are already there. The trick to hackintosh is just building an apple clone. Sometimes you have to substitute small components (like the DVD burner or whatever).

I'm not sure what the 'Nope' was for, but I think you meant to quote the guy before me.

I've got a question regarding making a hackintosh. Is it possible to buy a second hard drive and install macos on it, so I'll have 2 hard drives(Windows 10 and Macos) and I can choose which to boot from? I don't know if my pc is compatible for macos, I will post some of its specs below.

SPECS;
Gpu: nvidia gtx 1060 3gb (gigabite geforce gtx 1060 mini itx oc 3g)
Cpu: amd ryzen 5 1500x quad core
Motherboard: asus prime b350-plus
Ram: 8gb ddr4 2133mhz dual channel

am not sure if its compatible to run on AMD, cause there are few intel that are compatible and you have to tweak some CPU settings in the Bios ... but to know for sure whether or not ,your specs are compatible with MacOS ...

Check these websites/Communities ...

OSx86 and DSDT Database
