My opinion.
It's not for someone else to decide on what you going to choose for your education which also will be your future.
Pretty sure you deeply inside know yourself what you want to do and learn.
Other suggestion usually drunk people tell truth and do things they always wanted to do but couldn't do being sober because they are too afraid. So get drunk and apply for a course that you think is the best while you drunk because then you really know what you actually want. ( Don't take this for real but yeah that could work really ) anyways if you don't like the course you will apply for you are able to change your course in first month of starting your education. ( Pretty sure you can do that at least I knew I could when starting my education )

I'd highly recommend Python or C++, as Java is overly verbose and stupid, VB/.NET is annoying as fuck, and C# is only useful given context.

I'd say C++, as it's an amazing language and probably one of the best to learn, but Python is easy, cross-platform, and extremely useful, so that's what I voted for.

I would say C++, it's true that it's hard than the other languages you cited, but you can do more large stuffs with it than VB or Python. It all depends what do you want to do in special after College also

If it's game development you're looking for, learn C++. I voted Python because it's a great general language for anything you throw at it, but of course once a task is more specified more specialized languages are better.

Since you're considering Game Development, however, C++ is definitely worth going for. It's probably the best language for that kind of thing.

People don't give C# enough credit anymore. C# is SUPER useful. I agree that Python or C++ you should definitely learn, *HOWEVER*, I believe that's a given. Every programmer should know at least ONE OOP language. So I recommend you give C# a chance. It's a powerful language and its perfect for building applications that run on the .NET Framework. You can also use it to program great responsive GUIs for your already existing object oriented scripts

Again, exclusive only to Windows. Furthermore, yes C# is powerful, but it is nothing compared to C++ which is way lower-level than C#, giving you way more control over execution flow, memory, etc.

You can also use it to program great responsive GUIs for your already existing object oriented scripts
