Help Me Help You
TL;DR: People need to ask for help more. If something's wrong and you don't like it, notify staff.

So, lately it's becoming more apparent that people don't ask for help. So, I'd like to make this post to address some issues that weren't realized until recently. Since we're transitioning to invite-only status soon, it is important that these issues are fixed.
[ Bugs ]
If something on the site doesn't look right or isn't working the way it should, notify me. This includes slow page loads, ugly/missing images, or anything that might annoy you about the site. I'm here to improve the site and it's my job. In the past, there have been disastrous bugs and people have failed to notify me.
One of the notorious bugs caused the site to show as "white" to certain people. Very few people actually contacted me about it, which is why I didn't fix it as fast as I should have. This bug was present for several weeks before I actually fixed it. Once a fix was implemented, activity improved greatly. So, be sure to report any bugs you encounter.
[ Reports ]
If a post/thread is in the wrong section or it is low quality, please report it. I check the reports quite often and I deal with them swiftly. By reporting things, you are not only contributing to the quality of the forum, but you're also helping me clean things up. There are some rules that people don't even know about, which can lead to confusion.
One issue we have right now in the Security section, is that people generally put all of their tutorials in the Tutorial section. Some of these tutorials would have fit better in other sections. For example, there was a thread titled "How to use CAIN and ABEL" in the Tutorial section. It should have been in the Network Security section instead. (Read here.)
Hopefully this post will encourage you all to ask for help.
If you have any questions or concerns, message me or post below.
