Have you ever been deceived by food? 01-05-2015, 09:19 PM

So, here's my story. I haven't posted in here for a while, or been active, but, for some reason, this seemed to fit in here. Perhaps because I have little other place to go, but here it is. My story. Stick around, because it's a pretty fucking unfortunate one.
I was walking in towards Tesco Express, which is a supermarket, and decided to look in the pastry section. Why not? There is nothing wrong with looking in the pastry section. So, to the point. I saw this wonderful, chocolate-covered ball of goodness with a crispy, golden topping, covered in snow-like, fluffy sugar, and immediately put it in the basket. I smiled to myself as I walked towards the till.
I couldn't wait to go home and have this. I'd sit down, load up some Netflix and smoke a joint alone, all to myself. I would have a great day! I could see it. I found a film, chose 'Elf', by the way, to get back in the Christmas mindset, and had my smoke. I then opened up the packaging, and it looked even better! I held it in my hands, a smile rose upon my face. I prepared myself, taking shallow breaths. I took a bite.
Fuck! What is this? This isn't what I was expecting at all! The whole thing was filled with fucking cream. It wasn't even nice cream, it tasted like shaving foam. I had literally paid a pound for a ball of shaving foam, when I could have bought far more shaving foam for even less. I realised immediately that I had been naive. Things that look good from the outside are rarely equally good inside. I started wondering what I was actually expecting to be inside, other than cream, but I wasn't expecting shaving foam.
I actually took some pictures, here is the exterior & interior:

Have you ever had an experience like mine? In which you were tricked into buying something that tasted nothing like you imagined?
