Have you ever been deceived by food? #1
So, here's my story. I haven't posted in here for a while, or been active, but, for some reason, this seemed to fit in here. Perhaps because I have little other place to go, but here it is. My story. Stick around, because it's a pretty fucking unfortunate one.

I was walking in towards Tesco Express, which is a supermarket, and decided to look in the pastry section. Why not? There is nothing wrong with looking in the pastry section. So, to the point. I saw this wonderful, chocolate-covered ball of goodness with a crispy, golden topping, covered in snow-like, fluffy sugar, and immediately put it in the basket. I smiled to myself as I walked towards the till.

I couldn't wait to go home and have this. I'd sit down, load up some Netflix and smoke a joint alone, all to myself. I would have a great day! I could see it. I found a film, chose 'Elf', by the way, to get back in the Christmas mindset, and had my smoke. I then opened up the packaging, and it looked even better! I held it in my hands, a smile rose upon my face. I prepared myself, taking shallow breaths. I took a bite.

Fuck! What is this? This isn't what I was expecting at all! The whole thing was filled with fucking cream. It wasn't even nice cream, it tasted like shaving foam. I had literally paid a pound for a ball of shaving foam, when I could have bought far more shaving foam for even less. I realised immediately that I had been naive. Things that look good from the outside are rarely equally good inside. I started wondering what I was actually expecting to be inside, other than cream, but I wasn't expecting shaving foam.

I actually took some pictures, here is the exterior & interior:

Have you ever had an experience like mine? In which you were tricked into buying something that tasted nothing like you imagined?

haha every time I buy one of those stupid packs of sugar cookies I regret it. They look so good, then you eat them and they taste like a robot peed in 'em. Yes, robot pee sugar cookies.

The exterior is literally the type of pastry used for cream. But the actual cream looks pretty horrible, unlucky. Go back and complain and say it made you throw up and be ill.

I was thinking that as I reflected on it, and wondered what I was actually thinking was inside of it. I don't think I ever really thought about it, perhaps I imagined it was jam. I'm not against cream though, but this one really was quite horrible. I can't really go back because I already ate that one, and the other one...

I can't recall an exact time of this happening to me, but I know it's happened before.

Feelings of disappoint. Sad

Always read the packaging Wink
Looks like you bought crappy profiteroles. I get disappointed by pizza that looks good and tastes shit.. Or when you go to a restaurant and expect a decent sized portion of something and it's tiny.. Or the opposite.. More than you can handle.

I once ate 3 portions of spaghetti and eat balls because it didn't feel fulling. An hour later and I was puking.

@BreShiE can vouch for Skype puking sessions.

I can only imagine how disappointed you must have felt.
I don't believe anything like this had happened to me.
Other than food poisoning, etc.
Did you go back and say anything?

Just finished eating it and went to sleep.

One time I a piece of poop told me it was chocolate, but I resisted the urge to eat it.
In all seriousness though, that really sucks, was the outside good at least?
