I love newegg. Mostly because they are willing to work with you on a lot of things. If I don't get people to let me build for them, fine. No big deal. Like you said. I enjoy doing it.

I have a new store that I recently discovered near me that is a certified reseller of Intel, EVGA, Corsair, CoolerMaster, and other large brands, their prices are better than new egg on a lot of items. They are my new hang out spot
